Job description

We provide English as a Second Language (ESL) education to adult students and seek a dynamic and dedicated admissions representative working 25-30 hours per week at $11-$16 per hour, commensurate with education and experience. The schedule may include hours Monday‑Friday between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM. This position is for our Spring session, which will begin in January, 2017.

Job Description

• Identify and recruit customers.
• Represent the company and provide appropriate information to prospective customers and other interested parties. Collect payments for a variety of events (i.e., monthly payments, fees, etc.).
• Compose a variety of documents such as correspondence, agendas, minutes, newsletters, bulletins, and reports for the purpose of communicating information.
• Maintain ongoing contact and good public relations with customers and staff.
• Prepare a wide variety of reports, documents, and correspondence of both confidential and non‑confidential nature (i.e., letters, memorandums, meeting minutes, charts, operational procedures, manuals).

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and communication skills required.
• Ability to use a computer and MS Office applications required.
• Knowledge of Russian, Portuguese, or Spanish is a plus.
