Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an Associate to cultivate a pipeline of applicants and drive the outreach and enrollment process for a premier IT training program. You will promote Per Scholas’ mission through community engagement, recruitment, and digital outreach, helping to build scalable processes and a strong student experience.

You will refine admissions workflows, manage data in Salesforce, and support cross-functional teams to ensure successful cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in admissions in a nonprofit or college environment is a plus.
• Strong technical aptitude with Google Sheets/Excel, Slides/PowerPoint, Salesforce, etc.

Responsibilities

• Implement a rigorous outreach and admissions process across its life-cycle to meet recruitment targets.
• Conduct presentations and information sessions off-site.
• Identify relationships with referral partner organizations for long-term partnerships.
• Process candidate applications, perform phone screens, TABE, and interviews.
• Build rapport and communicate effectively with candidates.
• Refer applicants to supportive services or alternative programs as appropriate.
• Execute retention activities for specific alumni populations including women and young adults.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
• Provide telephone coverage as needed.
• Coordinate class kickoffs and graduations.
• Promote a collaborative work environment and get things done.
