Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mental Health Tech to provide direct care to children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric disorders in the Admissions/Assessment area. You will help ensure safety and well-being in a high-need environment.

The role involves observing patients, facilitating groups, conducting searches for contraband, assisting with daily living skills, managing milieu, and documenting in patient records.

Qualifications

• Pass a Level 2 Background Investigation
• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting
• CPR (May be acquired after hire)
• Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Team work
• Hours: Night Shift - Thursday - Saturday 7 PM - 7 AM
• Attend full hospital and departmental orientations

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults.
