Job summary

River City Post Acute in Carmichael, CA is seeking an Admissions Desk LVN/LPN to join our compassionate healthcare team.

Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will admit, transfer, and discharge residents, administer medications, monitor care, and protect resident privacy.

Must hold current LVN/LPN licensure in California, demonstrate strong communication and organization, and be willing to learn computer systems.

Qualifications

Salary Range: $35.50-$40.00 per hour

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will put resident service first and ensure that residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a registered nurse, you will deliver a full range of nursing care. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Medication administration.
• Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.

Must Have:

• LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn

Nice to Have:

• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment
• Nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC)
