Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of direct care in chemical dependency or psychiatric settings.
Experience in crisis intervention and/or case management.

Responsibilities

Assess and identify chemical dependency treatment needs through psychosocial, educational, developmental and behavioral assessment.
Complete clinical assessment using DSM V and ASAM criteria.
Complete initial authorization for inpatient and outpatient services.
Ensure patient receives appropriate level of care.
Interface with medical staff, department heads and administration.
Recognize signs of chemical dependency and apply interventions.
Assess, direct, and intervene in crisis situations.
Facilitate referrals to outpatient treatment services.
Maintain excellent customer service.
Respond to inquiries about services.
Uphold Cenikor's core principles and positive environment.
Maintain compliance with regulations and Cenikor policies.
Document calls and enter data accurately.
Complete performance management tools and SMART goals.
