Position Description:
This position will support Office of Undergraduate Admissions recruitment strategies through coordinating the daily Campus Visit Program and supporting students and parents through the admissions process, via phone, e-mail, and in-person. This position will serve as the primary contact for prospective students and guests for the daily visit experience, managing visit communications, maintaining web and portal content, and ensuring a high-quality, seamless campus visit experience.
In collaboration with the Associate Director of Admissions for Visits and Events, this position directs the planning, coordination, and execution of the Daily Campus Visit Program, including oversight of visit logistics, communications, campus tour operations, presentation content, and the continuous review and enhancement of the campus tour route to showcase the University's academic excellence, student life, new developments, and campus community. This position will also recruit, train, and supervise Student Campus Visit Guides, a group of 50 current students, while collaborating with campus partners and the Communications and Marketing team to support an effective and engaging visitor experience.
The position will also assist in the development and planning of on-campus large scale recruiting events such as Accolade, Cardinal Preview Day, and Say Yes to the Ville, as well as coordinate additional visit programs including Legacy Day, Admitted Student Fridays, and Orientation and Transfer Campus Tours. Additionally, this position will support general recruitment efforts, including serving in the Counselor on Call rotation, assisting prospective students and families, contributing to enrollment management initiatives, and supporting scholarship review processes.
The position requires strong interpersonal, presentation, customer service, and event planning skills, as well as the ability to effectively engage with and supervise student staff. The position will utilize Slate and other customer relationship management (CRM) systems to manage visit communications and support the prospective student experience. This position will also require occasional evening and weekend availability to support campus visits, recruitment events, and other Admissions programs.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
