Job summary

Calvin University is seeking a proactive Admissions Recruiter for the School of Graduate & Continuing Studies in Grand Rapids. You will identify, qualify, and assist prospective graduate and adult students, developing travel plans, emails, calls, and on-campus meetings to build partnerships.

You will coordinate outreach to domestic and international audiences, manage recruitment events, and maintain CRM records to report activity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• At least 12 months of admissions or higher education experience preferred.
• Experience with international admissions preferred.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Purposefully seek, recruit, qualify, and assist with the admission of prospective graduate and adult students at Calvin University.
• Create and implement recruitment strategies including travel, phone calls, emails, texts, on-campus appointments, employer drop-offs, and cultivating organizational partnerships.
• Coordinate special projects, review application materials, and communicate with academic leaders to implement admissions decisions.
• Support international students through communication, transcript evaluations, and guidance during enrollment.
• Develop and maintain strong connections with key colleges, universities, businesses, and community organizations for market development.
• Represent the School of Graduate & Continuing Studies at local and regional events.
• Serve as primary contact for prospective students via calls, events, meetings, and emails, including domestic and international audiences.
• Perform administrative duties such as reviewing admission files, monitoring applicant status, scheduling recruitment visits, and arranging travel.
• Manage CRM database to track leads, record student interactions, and report recruitment activity.
• Analyze enrollment data to identify and develop sources for potential students.
• Attend training and meet with faculty to become an expert on Calvin University and its programs.
• Assist with other enrollment populations, events, and recruitment activities as needed.
