POSITION SUMMARYThe primary role of an Admission Counselor is to facilitate the successful enrollment of students to the undergraduate program. The position performs duties to identify and recruit prospective students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Represents the College at various recruitment events.
- Monitors all aspects of the enrollment process for students from assigned geographic regions.
- Reviews admission applications and admits eligible students.
- Visits high schools within assigned regions.
- Provides accurate and timely information for students and their families.
- Corresponds with students regarding application status, upcoming events, financial aid, housing, testing, and registering.
- Maintains communication records in Slate (CRM).
- Leads individual meetings with all campus guests from assigned territory.
- Presents at on-campus programs.
- Supports large campus visit programs including Presidential Scholarship weekend, Raven days, Open House, and Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration.
