Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Surprise is hiring a full-time Admissions Specialist to support the facility's admissions office. The role includes managing referrals, intake, verification, pre-certification, and the admissions process, and serving as a back-up to the Admissions Manager.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required; business or technical schooling is preferred. Experience in a medical office or healthcare registration with knowledge of medical terminology and insurance

Qualifications

• Education and Training: A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Business or Technical School is preferred. Medical terminology and knowledge of process of insurance verification is required.
• Experience: At least one (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function. One (1) year of insurance eligibility and authorizations experience preferred.

Position will be 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Friday through Tuesday.
