Overview

We are hiring a part-time Admissions Coordinator to join our dynamic care team at South Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in Rockland!

Hourly pay between $22 and $26 with weekly pay. 24 hours a week. Flexible on the days.

Role Overview

As the Admissions Coordinator, you assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and overseeing the overall operations of all admissions directed by the Director of Admissions.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Marketing/Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or Assisted Living facility.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists in the coordination of all admissions to the facility.
  • Is readily available and represents the facility to potential residents, families, hospitals, and other referral sources positively and professionally.
  • Knows and complies with facility Privacy Practices policies and procedures, and can educate residents and their families accordingly.
  • Assists in the coordination of all admission activities and documentation with all respective departments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the facility and all community groups and agencies.
  • Assists in the implementation of the facility marketing plan.
  • Utilize appropriate sales/marketing techniques (i.e., public speaking, community workshops, cold calling, facility events, media coverage, etc.).
  • Maintain budgeted census mix.
  • Assure detailed completion of all admission, discharge, and transfer records manually as well as computer-generated.
  • Assist in providing ongoing assistance to potential residents and their families in negotiating a successful placement.
