Overview

Admissions and Community Coordinator — Cascadia School | Redmond, WA | On-site
Full-Time | 40 hr/week

Cascadia School is seeking an Admissions and Community Coordinator to serve as the key point of contact for our community. This pivotal role involves guiding prospective families through the admissions process, while simultaneously strengthening our internal community through engaging and consistent communication. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and a passion for education, with the ability to tell a compelling story and cultivate strong relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison for prospective families, stewarding our admissions process from leads to admissions decisions.
  • Tell the Cascadia story, conveying our unique program to prospective and enrolled families through engaging content.
  • Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders to support and diversify the inflow of applications.
  • Evaluate the admissions process, providing recommendations to bolster admissions functions and promote conversations at every stage of the process.
  • Manage the logistics for school tours, open houses, and other admissions-related events.
  • Communicate with enrolled families by sending weekly updates about school events and highlighting classroom moments.
  • Support the planning and execution of 3-4 community events annually.
  • Be a vital piece of the Cascadia puzzle to help us achieve our goals.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in the education admissions and/or relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of the elementary educational system.
  • An energetic voice with outstanding written and oral communication skills to tell a compelling story.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, design tools, photography, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with families, coworkers, students, and external stakeholders.
  • A team mindset, ready to assist with various tasks to ensure all work is completed.
  • A strategic approach to assessment and improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and self-motivated work ethic.

The Admissions and Community Coordinator role is expected to work on-site at Cascadia’s Redmond campus. As part of the administrative team, this position will work through the summer months while school is not in session with the potential for a hybrid/remote work schedule (pending supervisor approval).
