Job description

Description

Student Availability
We're here when our students need us most.

Many Joyce University students balance careers, families, and other responsibilities while pursuing their nursing education. To provide the personalized support they deserve, this role includes some evening and weekend availability.

Join Us in Transforming Nursing Education

At Joyce University, work is more than a job—it's a shared commitment to student success, innovation, and purpose. Since 1979, we've been driven by one mission: preparing people to serve as competent nurses while empowering every student to succeed.

We're building more than a university experience. We're creating a personalized, student-centered learning journey designed to expand access to nursing education, strengthen communities, and help address the nation's nursing shortage.

Our culture is grounded in Service, Learning, Integrity, Caring, and Excellence—brought to life through meaningful relationships, high standards, and a belief that every interaction should move students forward.

Here, your expertise matters. Your growth is supported. Your work has visible impact.

Together, we're creating a future where every student—and every team member—can, should, and will succeed.

About the Role

Every future nurse has a moment when they decide to change their life. As an Admissions Advisor, you'll have the privilege of helping students take that first step.

You'll build meaningful relationships with future students, helping them explore their goals, understand their aspirations, and determine whether Joyce University is the right fit for their future. Every conversation is an opportunity to remove barriers, provide clarity, and empower someone to take the next step toward a rewarding nursing career.

Because many of our students are working adults, your schedule allows you to connect with them during evenings and weekends, when they have the time and flexibility to explore their educational goals. Rather than simply processing applications, you’ll serve as a trusted guide and advocate throughout one of the most important decisions they'll ever make.

Whether you’re welcoming students to our Draper campus or connecting virtually from across the country, you’ll create an exceptional first impression and deliver the personalized experience that defines Joyce University.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for prospective students from initial inquiry through enrollment.
  • Build authentic relationships by listening carefully to each student's goals, motivations, and concerns.
  • Provide personalized guidance that helps students make informed decisions about their educational future.
  • Educate students on Joyce University's nursing programs, admissions requirements, and career opportunities.
  • Conduct engaging campus tours, virtual appointments, and admissions interviews.
  • Communicate proactively through phone, text, email, and video to ensure every student feels supported.
  • Guide students through admissions requirements and enrollment documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records within the CRM to ensure a seamless student experience.
  • Collaborate with Financial Aid, Student Success, Academics, and other university partners to support the entire student journey.
  • Contribute to enrollment goals while maintaining a student-first, consultative approach.
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and campus events that strengthen the Joyce community.
What Makes You Successful

You’re passionate about helping people discover opportunities that can transform their lives.

You enjoy building meaningful relationships, asking thoughtful questions, and helping others make important decisions with confidence.

You’re naturally curious, highly organized, and energized by working toward goals while providing an exceptional experience for every student you serve.

Most importantly, you believe success isn’t measured simply by enrollments—it's measured by helping students find the right educational path for their future.

What’s In It for You
  • Self-directed PTO philosophy
  • Paid holidays
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage
  • Professional development and continuing education assistance
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture where your work has a meaningful impact
  • The opportunity to help educate the next generation of nurses who will strengthen communities across the country
Why Choose Joyce?

At Joyce University, admissions is more than meeting enrollment goals—it's about helping future nurses take the first step toward a career that will make a difference in the lives of countless patients and families.

When you join Joyce, you’ll be part of a team that believes every conversation matters and every interaction should move a student forward.

Here’s what sets us apart:
  • Help shape the future of nursing. Every student you enroll is preparing for a career that will strengthen healthcare and improve lives.
  • Build relationships, not transactions. We take a consultative, student-first approach focused on helping students determine whether Joyce University is the right fit for their goals.
  • Join a mission-driven culture. Our values of Service, Learning, Integrity, Caring, and Excellence guide how we support students and one another every day.
  • Work as One Joyce. You’ll collaborate across Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Success, Academics, and other teams to create a seamless student experience.
  • Grow your career. We invest in professional development, encourage continuous learning, and provide opportunities to grow within the university.
  • Enjoy flexibility with purpose. Our schedule is designed to meet students where they are—providing support during evenings and Saturdays when many working adults are available—while maintaining a balanced full-time workweek.

If you’re passionate about helping others achieve their dreams and want your work to have a lasting impact on students, nursing, and the communities they will one day serve, you’ll find purpose at Joyce University.
