Cantex is seeking an Executive Director (LNFA) for a Dallas, TX skilled nursing facility to lead operational, clinical, and financial performance. This role drives EBITDAR results, census growth, and high‑quality resident care while upholding regulatory standards and service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a Texas LNFA license, 3–5 years of LNFA leadership, and a proven track record in SNF operations, referrals, and quality inspections.

Qualifications

• Texas LNFA license required and in good standing.
• 3–5 years of LNFA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Proven ability to meet EBITDAR budgets and financial targets.
• Demonstrated success in census development and referral relationships.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations for SNF operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EBITDAR performance through revenue management, cost control, and labor optimization.
• Champion service-excellence culture for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Analyze financial reports and KPIs; identify trends and take corrective actions.
• Drive census growth and occupancy via strategic marketing and referrals.
• Build relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and other sources.
• Ensure rapid admissions process and high conversion to occupancy.
• Oversee timely Plans of Correction and survey readiness.
• Ensure compassionate, resident-centered care meeting standards.
• Foster safety, dignity, and service excellence for residents and families.
• Address resident and family concerns with timely resolution.
• Lead a high-performing management team aligned to facility outcomes.
• Enhance employee engagement and reduce turnover.
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to improve quality and outcomes.
• Maintain risk management with strong systems oversight and incident reporting.
• Lead QAPI initiatives to improve outcomes and reduce rehospitalizations.
• Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions with care teams.
• Monitor AR aging to maintain revenue cycle performance.
• Represent facility at community events to support referrals and brand.
• Provide visible leadership to department managers and staff.
• Recruit and develop leadership and staff; promote accountability.

Job Summary

The Executive Director (LNFA) leads the operational, clinical, and financial performance of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) by driving strong EBITDAR results, census growth, and high‑quality resident care. This role builds a high‑performance culture, strengthens regulatory readiness, and develops strategic relationships that expand market share and elevate the resident and family experience. The Executive Director ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for an experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA/LNFA) with a strong background in skilled nursing facility operations, census growth, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Texas Nursing Home Administrator license (LNFA) required
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an LNFA in a Skilled Nursing Facility
• Proven ability to achieve or exceed EBITDAR budgets and financial performance targets
• Demonstrated success in census development and referral relationship management
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing home operations
• Comprehensive understanding of SNF reimbursement models across multiple payors
• Successful track record of regulatory and quality inspections
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a strong sense of urgency

Essential Functions

• Deliver strong EBITDAR performance through disciplined revenue management, cost control, and labor optimization
• Champion a service‑excellence culture for residents, families, visitors, and staff
• Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs); identify trends and implement corrective actions
• Drive census growth and occupancy through strategic marketing, referral development, and hospital/ACO engagement
• Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and other referral sources
• Ensure a rapid, seamless admissions process that improves conversion rates and positions the facility as a preferred provider
• Achieve positive survey outcomes through proactive oversight of survey readiness, survey response, and timely execution of Plans of Correction (POCs)
• Ensure delivery of compassionate, resident‑centered care that meets or exceeds clinical, regulatory, and quality standards
• Foster a culture of safety, dignity, and service excellence for residents and families
• Proactively address resident and family concerns, ensuring timely resolution and communication
• Build and lead a high‑performing, accountable management team aligned to facility outcomes
• Strengthen employee engagement, communication, and recognition to reduce turnover and improve stability
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to improve quality measures, financial outcomes, and resident satisfaction
• Maintain a proactive risk‑management posture through strong systems oversight, incident management, and timely reporting
• Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to improve outcomes, reduce rehospitalizations, and meet quality‑based reimbursement targets
• Oversee interdisciplinary collaboration for timely discharge planning and strong care transitions
• Monitor accounts receivable aging to maintain strong revenue cycle performance
• Represent the facility at community events and partnerships to support brand visibility and referral growth
• Provide strong, visible leadership to all department managers and staff
• Recruit, develop, and retain high‑performing leadership and staff
• Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional development

Continuing Education

• Attend continuing education programs as necessary to maintain current licensure and stay informed on regulatory changes and best practices.
