Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an IT Support professional to provide end-user assistance for the Business Development team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities include hardware and software troubleshooting, Office 365 support, and enabling smooth video/audio conferencing for meetings.

The role involves liaison with the IT and BD teams for special projects, hardware refresh cycles, and on-site support, with possible overtime for high-priority events. Home visits may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience providing end-user IT support.

• Familiarity with Office 365 applications and conferencing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for Business Development end users.
• Provide backup support for end users under current support model.
• Manage backup hardware on the Business Development floor for hot swaps.
• Liaise between IT and Business Development for projects (meetings, hardware refreshes).
• Provide standby support for high-priority meetings.
• Troubleshoot PC, peripheral, mobile device, and conferencing issues.

Job Summary

3. Work Product: Support provided include:

• Provide IT Support for all Business Development end users not covered by Executive and VIP Support team
• Provide backup support for Business Development end users under the current Executive and VIP Support model
• Manage backup and spare peripheral hardware on the Business Development floor for immediate hot swap
• Liaison between IT and Business Development for special projects, such as Meeting Room upgrades, hardware refreshes, etc.
• Provide standby support for quarterly and annual high-priority meetings
• Troubleshoot hardware or software related issues for personal computers, peripherals/printers, mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, satellite phones, etc.), Video/Audio Conference Support, Office 365 application support, and proprietary software support.
• Support Audio Conferencing meetings such as Onsite Department Town Halls and confidential meetings.
• Level 2.5 mobility support – Support, Deployments, and migrations.
• Home Visits and after business hours support as required in support of BAEC - Javier La Rosa
• Support may require Overtime hours and should be approved by Chevron in advance.
