Job summary

American Medical Associates is seeking a Nursing Home Administrator located in Erie County, NY. Salary: up to $170K per year, based on experience. The candidate must hold a current NY Administrator license and have nursing home leadership experience.

The administrator will monitor and maintain regulatory compliance, and develop and enforce policies, procedures, and staff evaluations to support excellent resident care and teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist department directors in development and use of department policies and procedures and establish rapport in and between departments so that each can see the importance of teamwork.
• Interpret the facilities policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, and governmental agencies, etc.. as necessary in accordance to board approved practice.
• Review the facility’s policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and make changes as necessary to assure continued compliance with current regulations.
• Assure that all employees, resident, visitors, and the public follows established policies and procedures.
