City of Concord, NH seeks an detail-oriented Administrative Support professional to assist the Police Records Unit in a 24-hour weekly operation. This permanent part-time role supports officers, dispatchers and staff with clerical tasks.
You will handle phones, data entry, cash receipts, filing, and report preparation, with opportunities to contribute to the department move to a new state-of-the-art facility. A high school diploma and clerical experience are required; S.P.O.T.S.

Looking for a detail oriented administrative support professional who understands this is a 7 day operation of supporting our officers, dispatchers as well as administrative and command staff. We have a need for a flexible individual who is willing to work two day shifts and two evening shifts. Three 8 hour shifts can also be considered. This will be an exicting time to join the department as we prepare to move into a new state of the art facility!

$22.56 to $24.86 (top of range $30.30)

Performs administrative and clerical work of moderate difficulty, involving typing, filing, and assisting the public with inquiries, complaints, and problem resolution. An individual in this classification may be required to compile information from a variety of sources and prepare reports, track documents, and research answers to questions related to the area of assignment.
High school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience which involved interacting with the public to disseminate information, or
Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.
Depending on area of assignment may be required to pass psychological examinations.

Justice of the Peace
Record keeping, report preparation, filing methods, and records management techniques.
Standard business arithmetic, including percentages and decimals.
General office procedures, policies, and practices, as well as basic knowledge of computer/VDT and other general office equipment.
Basic budgetary principles.
City of Concord zoning ordinances and basic interpretations.
Work is performed in an office or stockroom.
Work is performed in a very noisy place.
Work exposes employee to dust, dirt, grease, contagious or infectious diseases, or irritating chemicals.
