California State University, Stanislaus seeks an experienced administrative coordinator for the Art Department. The role supports clerical operations, budgets, and communications to faculty, staff and students.
Under general supervision, the incumbent will manage workflows, prepare reports, and coordinate department events, travel, and scheduling while upholding university policies. A strong background in office systems and CSU procedures is preferred.

Full-time position available on or after October 1, 2026, for the Art Department. This position’s responsibilities are carried out under general supervision. The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the clerical and administrative support functions of the College of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and performing a variety of administrative support duties of a moderate-to-complex operational and procedural nature. Responsibilities include coordinating office workflow and logistical support, maintaining office procedures, tracking and compiling budgetary and operational information, preparing reports and correspondence, interpreting and applying established policies and procedures, and serving as a primary administrative contact for the unit. The position exercises independent judgment in prioritizing work assignments, resolving routine operational issues, and supporting the efficient and effective operation of the office.

Education & Experience: Completions of a high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience.
Anticipated starting salary will be $4,047 (step 1) per month plus excellent paid benefits. Future increases, including step advancement, are subject to contract negotiations. Full range Salary will depend on the qualifications of the successful finalist. Full $4,047 (step 1) – $5,896 (step 20) per month.
