Qualifications

  • Associates degree or a combination of education and applicable work experience.
  • 5 years administrative experience, including 2 years in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and schedules work for staff to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space and facilities.
  • Ensures adequate staffing for unexpected/emergency coverage.
  • Provides work direction, guidance, coaching and training for staff.
  • Establishes, reviews and revises work processes and procedures to ensure efficient administrative activities.
  • Makes budget and staffing recommendations based on unit needs.
  • Compiles information reflecting expenditures and develops comparisons.
  • Develops new methods and processes to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Maintains liaison with other departments to coordinate activities.
  • Fosters open communication and teamwork to support organizational goals.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Supervises hiring, performance appraisals, training, and salary increase recommendations.
  • Performs other related duties.
