Job summary

Ardent Eagle Solutions seeks a personnel to support the BIS licensing reviews, ensuring timely and accurate analysis to support licensing decisions and enforcement activities. The position is 100% on site at the DOC HCHB in Washington, DC.

Selected candidates may undergo a government security investigation; US citizenship may be a prerequisite for certain roles. The role requires approximately 6 years of related experience and a BS/BA degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains party codes within the Party Coding System by establishing new codes and correcting coding errors to ensure data accuracy.
  • Audits the Entity List to verify that information within the Investigative Management System Reporting (IMS-R) accurately reflects the Entity List published in the Federal Register.
  • Conducts screen reviews of Entity Listed companies using the Investigative Management System Reporting (IMS-R) to ensure accurate records and compliance.
  • Contacts companies to obtain documentation in support of End-Use reviews.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and interprets administrative directives and organizational policies to ensure compliance and effective implementation.
  • Recommends the development of administrative policies and procedures and prepares them for implementation throughout the organization.
  • Provides guidance and administrative support to management on manpower, personnel management, travel, training, performance appraisals, awards, surveys, and special studies.
  • Applies extensive knowledge of the organization's resource management systems, program objectives, and applicable regulations, guidelines, directives, principles, and practices to monitor, coordinate, and maintain efficient and effective training programs.

Overview

To provide qualified personnel to support the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) in enhancing its ability to facilitate secure exports through the execution of Licensing Reviews. The requirements identified below are necessary to successfully perform these critical functions and support BIS' export control and national security mission.

Background
