The California Department of Industrial Relations is seeking a Senior Legal Typist in Anaheim, CA. You will provide clerical support for Workers' Compensation Judges, including preparing and serving orders, correspondence, reports, decisions and awards.
You will use the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) to process documents and maintain records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and a 45 words-per-minute typing certificate are required.

The SLT also assists the WCJ in maintaining EAMS records and assisting parties and the public with inquiries.

This position is located at: DWC District Office, 1065 North Link, Suite 170, Anaheim, CA 92806. The employee works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Daily access to and use of a personal computer, keyboard, telephone, fax and other office equipment are essential. Employees are required to attend meetings in designated conference rooms and be willing to travel for off-site training, work in a team environment and independently.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Typing Certificate of 45 words per minute, ability to read and write English at a level required for successful job performance, establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate effectively, follow directions, analyze situations and take effective action using good judgment in decision making, manage time and resources effectively and be responsive to management needs.
