The Department of Surgery is offering an exciting opportunity to work with a team of exceptional providers and leaders in the field of surgical services. While working primarily onsite with Department and Medical Center administrative and clinical leadership, the Administrative Director is responsible for the long-range planning and the development of ambulatory divisional goals, strategic plans and objectives, as well as personnel, resources, space needs and equipment decisions. The incumbent will primarily be supporting the divisions of Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, and Interventional Pulmonology.
Leads operational initiatives in services areas in order to achieve set goals. Responsible for strategic planning, educational and financial operations of division/department, budget management, improvements in access, overall customer satisfaction, communication, clinical service delivery, operating efficiency, and staff development.
Direct Reports: 4-6 Indirect Reports: 21-50 Has full responsibility for planning, monitoring and managing budgets for multiple departments.
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Some elements of the job are sedentary, but the employee will be required to stand for periods of time or move throughout the hospital campus.
Pay Range: $125,000.00 USD - $165,000.00 USD The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
