Job Summary

Assists in the completion of the department's daily operations by performing assigned tasks, various office functions, and duties in an accurate and timely manner as they pertain to the running of the department in a smooth and organized fashion.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain filing systems, handle incoming/outgoing faxes, and distribute U.S and interoffice mail/reports with accuracy
  • Run and prepare necessary reports
  • Organize, purchase, and keep inventory of office supplies
  • Prepare expense vouchers
  • Perform basic data entry
  • Assist other office personnel with any additional projects as needed
  • Monitor and/or back up telephone switchboard
  • Participate, initiate, or audit lean projects
Qualifications
  • Ability to accurately type a minimum of 50 wpm
  • Good working knowledge of English, grammar, punctuation, spelling, style, etc.
  • Ability to operate standard office machines
  • Knowledge of efficient office procedures
  • Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly
  • High school graduate or equivalent
