Lowell General Hospital is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support their Sleep Lab Clinic. Our mission is to put patients first, aiming to be one of the best community hospitals in America. Our Administrative Assistants play a vital role in achieving this goal.

Hours:

Full-Time / 32 hours / Day Shift

Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 10:30am - 6:30pm

Location: Saints Campus - Sleep Lab

Duties:
  1. Perform general office functions including typing, filing, email/mail correspondence, and purchasing supplies and equipment.
  2. Proficiently operate and maintain office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
  3. Answer phones professionally, screen and refer calls, follow up, and manage voicemails.
  4. Type and produce various correspondence and documentation accurately and promptly.
  5. Provide administrative support and participate in special projects as needed.
  6. Schedule appointments, maintain departmental calendars, coordinate meetings, and handle logistics.
  7. Maintain confidentiality in all office matters.
  8. Collaborate with the Director to maintain accurate statistics, prepare reports, and handle financial documentation.
  9. Process payroll and related accounts.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Medical Terminology is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a medical setting.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
