Responsibilities

  • Assisting attorneys in the Litigation Practice Group with all phases of litigation matters.
  • Assisting with case file management, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all relevant information and correspondence.
  • Preparing, formatting, proofreading, and revising legal documents, including pleadings, motions, petitions, discovery requests, correspondence, and settlement agreements.
  • Preparing and filing documents with state and federal courts, including electronic filings.
  • Coordinating and scheduling depositions, hearings, meetings, and other court-related proceedings.
  • Maintaining calendars and monitoring deadlines to help ensure timely case management.
  • Providing administrative support, including answering telephone calls, managing correspondence, and communicating professionally with clients, and courts.
  • Collaborating effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to support the efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment by sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices.

Salary Range: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities

The Administrative Assistant will provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys handling a wide range of matters, including trust and estate litigation, labor and employment disputes, and commercial and corporate litigation. Responsibilities include:
