Job summary

Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. in Los Angeles seeks an experienced executive assistant to support the Investment Operations team.

You will manage calendars, arrange domestic and international travel, prepare meeting materials, coordinate IT/AV needs, and monitor expenses against budgets. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years supporting executives in financial or professional services, with strong Excel and Word skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience supporting several executives in a financial services or other professional services firm.
  • Proven ability to manage tasks and time with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining priority and taking initiative.
  • Experience with ChatGPT and Claude is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills; SharePoint and Monday.com experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Investment Operations team.
  • Maintain complex calendars and schedule meetings and conference calls for multiple senior executives.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel and prepare expense reimbursements for officers.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare materials, and troubleshoot IT/AV requirements.
  • Track and report travel and entertainment expenses against budget and assist with budget-to-actual analyses.

Monitor invoice increases, determine root cause and report to management.
