Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Allergy Department at our Burlington site, fully on-site. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm, and involves extensive interaction with patients, families and staff.
Responsibilities include answering calls, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, preparing and proofreading documents, and providing excellent customer service.

Provides administrative support for the department. Involves extensive interaction with diverse populations including the public, visitors, patients and families, and providers.
Work requires close attention to task for work to be accurately completed. Intermittent breaks during the workday do not compromise the work. Work routine is fairly consistent, but employee needs to be able to use judgment to respond to events several times a week. No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling objects. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. This job requires constant sitting, Keyboard use, Endurance-working up to 3-4 hours without a break, frequent Power Grasping using one hand. There may be occasional Fine Manipulation using one hand.
$20.50 - $27.59 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
