  • Composes, types, and distributes meeting notes, routine correspondence, and reports
  • Plans/schedules meetings and follow up with required action items
  • Provides assistance and problem resolution to internal and external customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned.

This position reports to the Special Operations Unit Manager and is Statewide.

Job Description (General Summary): Under the supervision of the Special Operations Unit Manger, the Administrative Assistant 2 is responsible for a variety of administrative support functions to assist the Special Operations Unit Manager. You will work one-on-one with the Special Operations Unit Manager interact with OFI Leadership and a team of professionals from other business units within the agency. This role requires a high level of customer service and exemplary organization skills; demonstrating trustworthiness and responsible behavior; as you perform a variety of administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications

  • OR One (1) year of experience required at the lower level Admin Assistant 1 (GST050) or position equivalent.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, demonstrate some or all the following skills/experience: Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software.
