North Wind Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the installation waste management program in Fairbanks, AK. The role involves answering phones, processing drop-off requests, data entry, and creating reports from government systems.
You'll assist in creating documents and spreadsheets, greet customers, and coordinate with the Hazardous Waste Center crew while following OSHA, DOT, and RCRA standards.

The Administrative Assistant supports the installation waste management program by taking phone calls, recording waste pick-up and container drop off requests, performing clerical and filing duties, tracking manifests, organizing data, creating spreadsheets, creating reports from government waste tracking systems, maintaining office cleanliness, meeting and greeting walk-in customers, interfacing with client to answer document and records requests, and coordinating with other members of the Hazardous Waste Center crew.
In the spirit of North Wind’s safety-first culture, the Administrative Assistant will be expected to perform their duties in a manner consistent with applicable OSHA, DOT, and RCRA regulations, established North Wind Safety policies and programs, and the project Accident Prevention Plan (APP).
Education and Experience:
The position will require work to be primarily performed indoors in an office environment and occasionally in a warehouse or field environment.
