Job summary

Chenega MIOS seeks an Administrative Assistant to support senior officers (O-6+ and GS-15+) at JBAB, Washington, DC. The role covers calendar management, travel planning, voucher processing, and high-level correspondence within AFRCO.

The Senior Executive Assistant Operations will support senior officers and executives (O-6 and above, GS-15 and above) for Air Force Special Access Programs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain, while keeping current and accurate, the leadership calendars and schedules.
  • Plan and book travel.
  • Prepare, verify, and process travel vouchers upon travel return.
  • Coordinate appointments, correspondence, and communications with other senior executive administrative assistants.
  • Manage, generate, and coordinate executive correspondence and documentation.
  • Provide administrative services in support of the daily program office operations within the AFRCO.
  • Provide support for the Technical Director, Chief of Staff, Deputy Director, and Director of the AFRCO.
  • Order and manage office supplies, including paper and printer ink, through the AFRCO supply ordering process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree required
  • 10+ years of relevant DoD work experience with 4+ years of experience in an SAP and/or SCI environment within the last 5+ years is preferred
  • TS/SCI clearance level required
  • Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience booking travel and processing vouchers with the Defense Travel System (DTS) is highly desired
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have DoD acquisition program experience supporting the front office of a major product development program
  • Must have experience organizing meetings and have experience using tools to identify, track, and manage on-program suspense and action items
  • Must have expert-level use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat applications, and Edge, Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome web browsers
