Job description

*This is a full-time, in-office position at our Boulder, CO headquarters. We are not offering remote or hybrid options for this role.

About Wunder

Wunder is building a Modern Energy Company.

We were founded with one simple vision: to address the greatest crisis of our generation by accelerating the deployment of solar energy. In doing so, we help businesses, municipalities, and schools save money by delivering clean on-site power. We convert simple warehouses into electrified industrial platforms built for the future. We enable the nation’s leading commercial and industrial real estate firms to capture the benefits of solar across their properties. We align ESG goals with revenue targets, and the renewable energy assets we’re deploying today will power America’s tomorrow.

Wunder is actively developing hundreds of commercial solar projects across the country. Our team has evaluated more than 30,000 properties for solar across all 50 states to meet our customers where they are. Our customers have a national footprint and so do we. Wunder’s proprietary technology platform enables us to develop solar at scale, across a portfolio that includes everything from self-storage facilities and schools to data centers and industrial logistics facilities. Our average solar system—about 430 kilowatts in size—can offset 350,000 pounds of coal burned each year of system operation!

The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an exceptionally organized, resourceful, and driven professional to keep Wunder running day to day. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves solving problems, and brings a no-job-is-too-small mentality to everything they do.

You will own two things outright: the scheduling, logistics, and candidate communication for Wunder’s recruiting and talent pipeline, and the day-to-day operation of our Boulder office. You’ll also support the broader team, including Wunder’s senior leadership, with administrative work as it comes up. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, urgency, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

This role is about force-multiplication. You will help create leverage for the entire team by bringing order to chaos, anticipating needs before they arise, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

In this role, you will:
  • Put our customers first - Nothing is more important to our success than happy customers. You will support the team by finding ways to go above and beyond to deliver for our customers.

  • Own our recruiting coordination - Schedule interviews across multiple hiring managers, candidates, and time zones. Keep our applicant tracking system accurate and current, and handle last-minute reschedules in real time without dropping anything.

  • Be Wunder’s face to candidates - You are the company’s representative to candidates throughout the hiring process. You’ll set the tone for their experience, keep them informed, and make sure every person who interviews here walks away with a great impression of Wunder.

  • Own the Boulder office - Keep our space running smoothly, well stocked, and presentable. Manage vendors, deliveries, supplies, and guests, and make the office somewhere people want to be.

  • Help bring the team together - Support company events, team gatherings, and our company-wide retreats, handling logistics so everyone else can focus on being present.

  • Support the broader team - Help with scheduling, document preparation, note-taking, follow-up tracking, travel coordination, and other administrative work as it comes up, including for our senior leadership team.

  • Anticipate needs before they arise - Stay one step ahead by proactively identifying conflicts, preparing materials, flagging risks, and solving problems before they become issues.

  • Handle sensitive information with discretion - Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and judgment in all interactions and communications.

  • Do whatever is needed - Step into a wide range of tasks, big and small, to help the company operate at peak performance.

About You
  • Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented - You are exceptionally organized, you never let details slip past you, and you take pride in getting the small things right.

  • Calendar & Scheduling Pro - You are comfortable coordinating complex calendars across multiple stakeholders, and you understand that a scheduling mistake is someone’s wasted morning.

  • Excellent Judgment - You know how to prioritize, when to elevate, and how to handle sensitive situations with maturity and discretion.

  • Fast, Responsive, and Reliable - You move with urgency, communicate clearly, and are known for being someone others can count on.

  • Strong Communicator - You communicate clearly and professionally in writing and in person, and you can represent Wunder well with internal and external audiences.

  • Resourceful & Proactive - You don’t wait to be told what to do. You spot problems, propose solutions, and take action.

  • Comfortable with Ambiguity - You thrive in environments where priorities evolve quickly and no two days look the same.

  • A No-Task-Is-Too-Small Attitude - You enjoy being helpful and understand that great support often means handling whatever is needed, whether it’s a high-stakes board meeting or an afternoon coffee run.

  • Low Ego, High Ownership - You are humble, hands-on, and willing to jump in anywhere to help the team succeed.

  • You Believe That No Problem Is Too Hard - In environments where others get stuck, you stay calm, get creative, and find a way forward.

  • Experience - You have 1-2+ years of administrative, coordination, or operations experience, or are a recent graduate with a solid foundation from a previous internship, part time, or full time role. This could be in recruiting coordination, office management, hospitality, event planning, executive support, or anything that taught you how to juggle competing priorities and keep a lot of moving pieces on track. If you were the person your last team counted on to make sure nothing fell through the cracks, you’ll hit the ground running.

  • Located in Boulder or Denver, CO - Candidates must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to Boulder. This is an in-person role and you’ll be working out of our Boulder HQ five days per week.
