The role requires U.S. Citizenship, a current driver’s license, and eligibility for TS/SCI with SCI; familiarity with DISS and security processes is essential. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with demanding physical requirements and compliance with NISPOM.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have held citizenship for a minimum of three years prior to date of application.
• Must be able to obtain a Known Traveler Number (KTN) within four to six weeks of employment.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge within four to six weeks of employment.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Threat Assessment (STA) for Airport Badge within four to six weeks of employment.
• Must have a valid US drivers license and satisfactory driver record.

Compensation

$33.55/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Admin Security to enforce access and property control policies in all lobbies at Arlington, Virginia.
• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm.
• MUST have a current Top-Secret clearance or higher and be eligible for a TS/SSBI security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with DISS is a must.
• Maintain annual refresher briefing records.
• Review and approve pre/post foreign travel reports.
• Check visitors in and issue appropriate visitor badges.
• Submit new hire packets for clearances and investigations.
• Maintain SCARs database and DISS records.
• Maintain location and cost code metrics.
• Complete STEPP training for all security topics.
• Maintain Security Binders.
• Conduct bag inspections for the facility in accordance with NISPOM regulations.
• Patrol the suite including SCIF to ensure secured.
• Coordinating meeting.
• Maintain safety equipment.
• Manage the alarm system.
• Answering front desk calls.
• Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions.
• May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.

• Must have a valid US drivers license and satisfactory driver record.
• Drivers license must be compliant with REAL ID standards or possess a valid U.S. passport in addition to a valid drivers license.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
• Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Must be able to lift and carry various items weighing up to 100 lbs. Requires standing for long periods of time in all weather conditions. Requires intermittent sitting, walking, running, climbing, squatting, stretching, bending, and kneeling. Requires constant use of hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms
