Job summary

William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey invites applications for Adjunct Faculty in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, Department of Language, Literature, Culture and Writing’s World Language Program. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Spanish, French, Arabic, Italian, basic Chinese, or basic Korean.

Preferred: 1+ year teaching in higher education; positive collaboration and student-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Required: Earned Master’s degree in Spanish, French, Arabic, Italian, basic Chinese, or basic Korean.
• Preferred: One or more years teaching in higher education.
• Ability to interact with others in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Using the course outline as a guide, develop relevant syllabi in order to deploy course content, objectives, and methods of student assessment for up to six (6) credits per semester in assigned undergraduate or MEd course(s).
• Contribute to student success by providing consistent and effective support and guidance through role modeling and mentoring.
