Qualifications

• Must be able to provide instruction in health and healthy lifestyles across age groups.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in care and prevention of athletic injury.
• Strong human relations and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Flexible teaching style to accommodate different learners.
• Committed to helping students achieve goals and obtain a college education.
• Familiar with department/ campus computer programs (MineOnline, Moodle).
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Willing to teach in a competency-based system.
• Ability to work independently and with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction in assigned courses with clear objectives and relevant activities.
• Support curriculum integrity and promote the division and College mission.
• Encourage student success and timely communication with students.
• Attend meetings and participate in program/department activities as required.
• Teach courses such as LEIS 1602 Total Wellness and LEIS 2132 Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries.
