The incumbent will teach a maximum load of contact hours per semester in assigned areas, develop syllabi, use varied instructional methods, provide student engagement, and participate in departmental and college activities

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required; AAS in Translation and Interpretation preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience in translation or interpretation required.
• Fluency in a foreign language and ability to teach diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses and maintain a maximum load of contact hours per semester.
• Provide academic advising and engage in program activities.
• Develop syllabi and employ diverse teaching methods to meet learning outcomes.
• Maintain student records and contribute to department and college service.
