Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach college students, develop curricula, assess learning, and participate in program evaluation. The role supports PBSC's mission and strategic plan with duties spanning instruction and program coordination.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or higher (or an Associate’s with demonstrated competencies) and a current surgical technology credential with CPR. Evening/weekend schedules may apply; transcripts must be attached.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or minimum Associate’s degree with demonstrated teaching competencies.
• Must possess a CURRENT credential in the surgical technology field from an NCCA-accredited program and a CURRENT CPR CERTIFICATION.
• Minimum of two years of experience in OR scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology within the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, interpret, and implement administrative procedures and manuals related to College policies and standards.
• Analyze class and program needs; determine retention or deletion of courses.
• Develop and coordinate program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates; manage the calendar.
• Assist students and curriculum reviews, and articulation activities.
