Kilgore College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Sonography Program. The incumbent will teach echocardiography content, deliver hands-on labs, and support student success in a collaborative Health Sciences environment on the Kilgore, TX campus.

Qualifications

• Requires possession of an academic degree no lower than an Associate degree and credentials for the concentration.
• Experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, and student guidance is expected.
• Two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with program objectives and accreditation standards.
• Use lectures, labs, case studies, and simulation-based learning.
• Assess student performance with formative and summative evaluations and provide feedback.
• Adapt teaching to diverse learning needs and ensure materials align with competencies.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment and provide academic guidance to students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional effectiveness.
