Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University invites applications for an Adjunct Clinical Instructor- Speech-Language Pathology. The position supports the MS-SLP program by teaching clinical courses and mentoring students during external clinical placements on-campus residencies.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP, has at least two years of post-certification clinical experience, and is committed to integrating Christian faith with professional practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP required; doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years post-certification clinical experience.
• Part-time weekday availability 2-4 weeks per year during residencies.
• Experience supervising graduate student clinicians preferred.
• Active evangelical church membership and alignment with Baptist beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education and evaluate clinical competencies during on-campus residency experiences.
• Evaluate clinical course assignments and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with ASHA standards for clinical education and supervision.
• Collaborate with program faculty and staff to support student success during on-campus residencies.
• Model professionalism and integration of Christian faith principles and values in clinical practice.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and/or faculty meetings/trainings as appropriate.
