Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAPTE accredited institution with at least an associate’s degree in physical therapist assistant (PTA) or a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy (PT).
• Unencumbered Florida license in PT or PTA required at hire.
• Successful criminal background check required.
• Eligibility to work in Florida per §435.04(2) Florida Statutes.
• FDLE‑approved background check will be conducted on every successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in Physical Therapist Assistant courses.
• Develop and revise curricula for course delivery.
• Assess and evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain College and department standards.
