The incumbent will coordinate and monitor external field placements across community mental health centers, state agencies, and correctional settings, ensuring that all practicum hours, supervisory ratios, and evaluative records strictly comply with statutory and administrative benchmarks established by the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology (KBEP) and the regional accreditation standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Additionally, the role supports institutional academic transformation goals under legislative directives (including Senate Bill 185) by delivering an applied, workforce-aligned behavioral health curriculum.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Course Delivery & Practicum Oversight : Serve as the official Instructor of Record for graduate clinical practicum courses, conducting scheduled on-campus seminar meetings and applied clinical case reviews.
