Job summary

University of Pikeville, a leading university in Central Appalachia, seeks adjunct faculty for the Patton College of Education. Faculty will teach in Education programs, contribute to curriculum development, and support students with instructional guidance.

Candidates should hold Rank I or EdS in Education, have strong organizational and teaching skills, and a minimum of five years in a certified P-12 position; Canvas experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Rank I (Master’s + 30) or EdS in Education.
• Excellent organizational, communication, teaching and decision-making skills.
• Five years in a certified P-12 position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned education course including lecture notes, prep, exams, and syllabus.
• Support curriculum development and evaluation.
• Provide educational support for students as needed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Dean or Director.
