UDC College of Arts & Sciences seeks a part-time temporary instructor for Mortuary Science courses. Responsibilities include teaching assigned classes and preparing course materials. Applicants must hold an Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science and a valid DC funeral license.
This position provides an opportunity to engage students through various teaching methods and requires prior teaching experience or potential. Valuable contributions to curriculum development will enrich the educational experience.

The University of the District of Columbia is a public land grant institution of higher learning dedicated to providing quality, career focused undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to launch, enhance, or change careers. Incumbents must teach all assigned classes and hours as determined by the semester course schedule; they will be required to prepare and deliver relevant curriculum to students using a variety of teaching methods to include lecture, class discussion, demonstration labs, and projects.

Collective Bargaining Unit: Dependent upon certain criteria, this position may be eligible for representation and require payment of union fees through direct payroll deduction.
