Collin College in Frisco, TX is seeking faculty to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, discipline-appropriate ways that reflect core values, cultural responsiveness, and knowledge of the teaching field. The role emphasizes meeting professional standards and following college policies.
Teaching may occur on campus or off-site; some evening and weekend programs; Dual Credit may be included. This Security Sensitive position requires a background check.

In accordance with Texas Education Code §51.992, this position is designated for in-person work at a campus or other location of Collin College. Remote or telecommuting arrangements are notpermitted except under specific circumstances defined by law, including temporary illness, approved distance education assignments, or other narrow statutory exceptions. All candidates should expect to perform duties on-site. Candidates are also encouraged to review this in-person requirement and reach out with any questions if further clarification is needed.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, plus stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
Master’s degree in discipline/qualifying field or a Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 18 graduate hours in discipline/qualifying field.
Teaching experience is desired.
This position is Security Sensitive, therefore, candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
If selected for a dual credit course(s), an additional backgroundcheck requiring fingerprinting with the TX DPS will be required from the assigned ISD. Any questions related to the fingerprinting process should be directed to the ISD to which the faculty member is being assigned.
