Florida SouthWestern State Collegeis accepting resumes in search of anAdjunctProfessor for the CREATIVE Capstone course. The CREATIVE Capstone is a culminating General Education experience focused on applied transdisciplinary learning. Assisted by classmates, professors, and librarians, students will design and execute a significant project over the course of the semester. Work includes mentoring the student through their project from topic selection to final artifact, as well as collaboration with an embedded faculty librarian. CREATIVE Capstone faculty will be trained and certified to teach the course prior to their first semester.

  • Doctoral or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the teaching discipline or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline)
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught and currency in the discipline
  • Ability to participate in a 403(b) retirement plan
  • Ability to participate in various Wellness Initiatives
