Adjunct Faculty – Cosmetology

Hourly rate – $30/hr. Based on the Gainesville campus. Subject to criminal background check. Employees must reside in Texas or Oklahoma. Resume, cover letter and professional license are required in addition to the application.

Required Education

Must have a current Barber Instructor license in the state of Texas.

• Proficient in classroom theory and lab applications required of students enrolled in Barber courses.
• Active involvement in issues of institutional effectiveness including student learning outcomes, program level outcomes, and marketable skill achievement.
• Focuses teaching and outreach efforts on student success.

Preferred Skills & Abilities

Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply but it is not a requirement.

Required Experience

Three years current experience in the field of Cosmetology/Barbering.

Preferred Experience

• Prefer to have Barber Instructor License at least 3+ years.
• Associate’s Degree preferred but not required.
