Collin College seeks an adjunct faculty member with expertise in Sterile Processing to teach and deliver coursework across scheduled classes. The role requires adherence to course descriptions, syllabi, and divisional guidelines, with assignments potentially on multiple campuses and possibly Dual Credit courses.

In accordance with Texas Education Code §51.992, this position is designated for in-person work at a campus or other location of Collin College. Remote or telecommuting arrangements are not permitted except under specific circumstances defined by law, including temporary illness, approved distance education assignments, or other narrow statutory exceptions. All candidates should expect to perform duties on-site. Candidates are also encouraged to review this in-person requirement and reach out with any questions if further clarification is needed.
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Certified Instrument Specialist(CIS)/Certification in Healthcare Leadership(CHL)/Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certifications desired
If selected for a dual credit course(s), an additional backgroundcheck requiring fingerprinting with the TX DPS will be required from the assigned ISD. Any questions related to the fingerprinting processshould be directed to the ISD to which the faculty member is being assigned.
