Candidates should hold a Master's in Political Science (Doctoral degree preferred), bring 2–5+ years of professional experience, and demonstrate strong teaching ability, curriculum development, assessment, and student advising in a diverse collegiate

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; PhD preferred.
• 2–5+ years of professional experience.
• Experience teaching political science topics at college level.
• Ability to design engaging instruction for in-person and online courses.
• Strong teaching experience at the college/university level.
• Commitment to inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly feedback meetings with EU administrator (Dean/Advisor/Director).
• Maintain accurate attendance (daily and weekly).
• Make phone calls to absent students.
• Review and administer pre- and post-testing.
• Administer surveys and assessments in courses.
• Notify registrar of roster changes.
• Maintain fair grading schemes and deadlines.
• Prepare and update course syllabi.
• Update attendance daily and grades weekly.
• Conduct classes as scheduled and manage timing.
• Advise students and participate in advising.
• Complete annual professional development plans.
• Tutor students as necessary.
