Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Worldwide campus is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach PHYS 102 – Exploration in Physics at our Fort Lauderdale, FL campus. The course covers basic concepts, mechanics, heat, light, sound, electricity and magnetism, and modern physics.

ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States, with California excluded and limited exceptions for military bases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline.
• Disciplines including Physics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences or Geosciences are acceptable.
• Qualified candidates with a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach PHYS 102 – Exploration in Physics at the Fort Lauderdale, FL campus.
• Develop and deliver course materials, assessments, and student support.
• Assess student work and provide timely feedback in alignment with ERAU policies.
