Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry seeks a qualified Physics instructor to teach courses across multiple programs, delivering both theoretical and hands-on physics concepts. You will develop syllabi, design lesson plans, and regularly assess student progress while maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.

Collaborate with Tutoring and Retention, prepare reports with the Division Dean for planning and accreditation purposes, and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics (or closely related field) required.
• Minimum 18 graduate credit hours in Physics.
• College-level teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in both theoretical and hands-on physics concepts.
• Develop and maintain syllabi and lesson plans for courses.
• Regularly assess student learning and progress; maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with Tutoring and Retention and other departments to support student success.
