Job summary

College of DuPage seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Physical and Outdoor Education to plan and teach courses in classroom, lab, and field settings. Courses may run face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended, with the opportunity for a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.

Required: Bachelor's degree (physical or outdoor education preferred) and 2+ years in outdoor education; ability to lead field trips; wilderness first aid preferred; and readiness to teach in person, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in physical or outdoor education preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in outdoor education.
• Able to lead short trips as part of Field Studies.
• Wilderness first aid certification preferred.
• Must be able to teach in person; remote teaching with technology is supported.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver courses in classroom, lab, or field settings across delivery modes.
• Evaluate students and submit required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adapt instruction for diverse learning needs and multicultural campus.
