Primary Responsibilities

The Sul Ross State University Music Program of the Department of Visual and Performing Arts seeks an Adjunct in Music to serve as a part‑time music Instructor. The applicant will teach percussion lessons, percussion techniques, and any additional classes as needed. The candidate is able to grow the position by recruiting students. The candidate is expected to assist with managing the University’s percussion equipment in partnership with the Director of Bands. Routine travel to the Alpine campus is expected, and the specifics of the schedule will be worked out between the successful applicant and the Music Program.
